There is always a number of questions and some uneasiness when one starts down the road to reloading,

Back in about 1982=1984 RCBS put oput a 4 page flyer on how to reload, it got me going in the right direction and

SHOWED HOW SIMPLE IT IS (once you get it set up)

anybody have that pamphlet and if I find it I will take a picture and get someone to post it here, that will show how easy it really is

Reloading manual might be your best bet.

Or there are You Tube videos out there. But if you go this route, you gotta rely on the guy in the video knowing his stuff.

I had a friend come over and help me get set up. Surprisingly easy. Just the fear of the causing some damage that held me back.

I've been reloading for less than a year in total and less than 5 months for rifle.
I didn't go the ABC's of reloading route but I went the YouTube route.
iraqveteran8888 has a whole series on reloading using the Lee 50th Anniversary kit which I bought for my first press.

Lee case trimmers are very inexpensive and need no setup.
Simply insert the case into the holder then insert the cutter with the appropriate pilot attached and turn until it stops cutting.
I still use them for everything but 223 for which I use the Dillon RT1200 rotary trimmer since I reload in volume.

The other tool that I find invaluable for bottleneck cases is a case gauge.
By using a case gauge you can be sure that your sizing die is setup correctly.
It will also tell you if your case neck is too long requiring trimming.

I think what jefferson is looking for is that particular pamphlet ,he has been reloading for a long time and is a great benchrest shooter from what I hear.

I have been to Vienna and our team #2 finished 4th as a TEAM at the 2007 worlds in short range BR

I found the pamplet from 1983 & the last 4 (except the back pagewould be 5)
pages show 19 easy steps to building your own ammo,

it got me started down this path to destruction (oh I mean shooting lots and competing as I could now afford the ammo)

I wish to take 4 pictures and send to somebody who could photoshop it, or adjust it for publication here,

My thoughts are to show the many people how simple this is (yes try this at home with another friend ot set up the equipment first)

first step is to wipe clean and inspect the cases, last step is TA DA all done

anyone here who can recieve these pictures and edit them for this website,

the only advertising is the single stage RCBS press in a few pictures,

my objective was to make it a sticky once nice pictures were done and this would show folks in all disciplines that reloading is easy, and maybe fun (save a poop-pile as well)

any takers, then we have ot re-post in the precision section to see if we can make this a sticky or at least a link through a sticky,

if this works I can pictures all 19 pages,

kept the pamphet to show about 3 dozen folks over the years how simple it is, also showed my sister how safe it is and the pamplet was easy for her to read,
