Just came across a little .22 like the one pictured. Stamped on the barrel are:

ANCIENS ESTABLISSEMENTS PIEPER HERSTAL BELGIUM

Can anyone shed any light on this rifle and value??

We have the same 22 in our family. My grandfather bought it out of the Winnepeg Free Press for $7.50 in 1921. My dad used it for years and it was my first gun when i was 6. I carried it for years and used it lots.I saw one at a gun show a few years ago for $75 dollars. Thanks for the memories.
