This DA revolver has cal 380, and a triangle with L AM in it on the left side. The right has a crown over R, and a star over Y. Tha cyl. has the Belgian oval with the crown on top.
Just wondering what this represents, and is it worth more than scrap iron price. It's a thing I don't need, if you do. You know what they say about one mans junk.... Thanks, Bill...

the crown over R designates rifled barrel. Introduced for handguns in 1894
the star over Y is likely an inspectors mark
if the oval has the ELG in it then it's a proof mark Introduced to designate arms proved in conformity of German Proof Law of 1891.
It probably doesn't weigh very much so it's definitely worth more than scrap price ;)
It looks to be in nice condition. How are the mechanics?

The gun works and locks up OK, the rifleing is in used condition, OK for close targets. The lanyard ring and hammer screw are poor replacements. It has K D stamped in the grip cap, some Department, Kraft Dinner, or Kirk Douglas... Bill...
