Can anyone shed light on this old beast. Not a mark on it that I can see. 28" OAL, barrel about 14". Thanks in advance for any help!

It had a hang tag on it - $1075.00 :oops:

What makes it a replica by sight?
Honest question, attach no malice.
I play the antique game a bit... knowledge is good.
I am genuinely curious. I've played with rifles of that era... they had a nicer patina. Same buggered up screw heads though.
What is the stand out?
The stock would be my guess, it does have clean lines. 175 year old wood 'rounds out' so it's all curved.
Like a good woman.
 
Style, shaping, contours, details, quality. The little punch marks on the lock parts (to keep the parts together) are seen on the India made repros.
 
I'm going to disagree with it being an *Indian* repro - all the Loyalist/Veteran blunderbuss have brass barrels and the Access Heritage/MVTC blunderbuss have different furniture/locks.
Doesn't mean that it is a modern repro made by someone else though!
