Hey guys,

What would one expect to pay for a near mint Belgian Browning A5 Magnum Twenty?

28" Vent Ribbed Fixed Full mid 70's Vintage.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Cheers

Ryan

Having spent the better part of the afternoon drooling over a nice one in Squamish BC you may have to pony up another brown one .
It all depends on how serious the seller is and how weak the buyer is.
Me, I'm toying with an Italian SxS and kicking myself for missing the Sweet Magnum 20 gauge here on the West Coast.
Either you love them or you do t...I just like them, till the next urge comes along.
BTW NZ, thank you for your advice on the other topic.
Rob.

When I was selling my mint set of a 5 browning two years ago I really had to work to get 600$ each .I am shocked at how much thy are listed for in the last year or so. Dutch

A mint mag 20 can get $800 no problem. I have sold a few in the past. Really nice guns, especially when there choked mod or ic.
As a general rule the 20ga's are worth more then the more common 12's and the sweet 16 sells for the most if you can find one, and I mean the SWEET 16 not just the regular 16ga version.

I have an A5 and wondering what year it is and worth. I have tried to check on the Browning site but can't figure it.
Take a look and give me an idea of value. It is 12 guage. Also wondering why I see lots with the gold colored triggers and mine is black.

Looks like yours is a 1960, standard frame (non-magnum). Poly choke deducts value I've read, but other than that I can't help you with the value. http://www.nramuseum.com/media/940941/serialization-date of manufacture.pdf
