I have a buddy who's come on some financial difficulties and has asked me to reach out to my fellow gunnies for some information. He has a Belgian made .308 Browning BAR with a spare mag and a Weaver scope rail. It is one of the earlier ones with the factory engraved receiver but the blued (not the gold) trigger. It is in excellent shape since it's been maintained by a local gunsmith and it's seen approx. 200 rnds through it in it's life, so it's not shot out by any means. I know that prices vary from region to region, but if any of you kind gentlemen could give me your input, it would be most appreciated. If I had the means, I'd consider buying it. If the response warrants it, I'd probably take it to a local gun show. I'd give first crack at 'er to my fellow CGNer's though.
