Bell and Carlson stocks

If you phone them they have two american dealers that can get you anything you want and have the proper permits to ship to Canada leagally as well as they can ship your stock to your nearest wholesale sports dealer and include it in there next order. Thats what I was told when I phoned and inquired. I forgot the american dealers that could ship here though.

I dealt with Aftermarket Innovations. Great to deal with, however B&C makes their stocks to order. They don't just have them lying around. Once they get a few orders together they make a batch. Can take several weeks or could take a few days. I legally ordered mine. All export permits were in place.

Quite happy with mine. Big improvement over the factory BDL stock and so far I like it better than the Ultimate Sniper Stock my rifle formerly sat in.

thanks for the pics. My rifle is similar to yours but the barrel is tapered more. 27 1/2 inch Mclenen in 6BR. I like the stock but was unsure how to go about ordering. Thanks to all for the info. Kevin.

Just put one on my 12FV in .223 yesterday. Big improvement over the original. Haven`t shot with an A5 in awhile so it would be tough to give a fair comparison with out them side by side. It is a very comfortable stock from what I can tell so far and the prices are very reasonable.

Can someone compare this BC to the McMillan A5 please?

I'm interested in both for my Savage 12FV... I'm tired of the tupperware.

Both are very stable stocks. It ends there though. B&C have a bedding block, but not much for options, McMillans are all custom built to your spec.
We can get the black Medalists in quite easily, colored 1s are special order and can take several months to get.

Just remember guys, that B&C hasn't retooled yet for the newer Savage centerfeed screw spacing. It's caught a lot of ppl off guard. I gathered this info both from Savageshooters.com and from a personal e-mail to the company to confirm.
