Bell and Carlson is NOT DDTC registered at this time so can NOT be legally exported from the U.S.
Once they are registered we will again be carrying their line of stocks.

There probably are some U.S. retailers who will illegally ship B&C stocks here.
You wil likely receive a PM from a certain forum member who has illegally imported B&C and proud to promote this factand help others break the laws. Something to ponder, if you get caught you may not like the consequences.

Asking about how to intentionally break international laws is a quick way to become persona non grata on CGN.

WTF, the guy was asking where to get a B&C stock from, legally. That has nothing to do with a pissing match your having with someone else. Get over it.

Boston RE READ the original post it states
"if not, is there a retailer in the us who would ship it without asking for an exportation liscence?"

Maybe it is just me but that IS asking about how to illegally import controlled goods??
B&C stocks REQUIRE an export permit to legally be exported from the US. To get an export permit requires that the manufacturer is DDTC registered with the US govenment.

I was advising him that a certain member may supply him with information on how to break the law and that there could be consequences he should be aware of.

I have issues with anyone who tries to get others into trouble by supplying BAD intel.
And I probably won't get over guys illegally importing any more than I can get over any criminals who use firearms. It puts the Gun Culture as a whole in a poor light to government agencies and gives the media lots to spin when stuff or people get caught.

If I misread or misunderstood I appoligize. I took "if not, is there a retailer in the us who would ship it without asking for an exportation liscence?" as looking for a retailer that has gone through the proper procedures to export to Kanada so I don't have to do the import/export stuff myself. (and I won't for a second imply to know what all is involved).
I agree with you 100% that there has been some advice/information given here that is wrong but that is the problem with open forums like this (anybody can be an expert). We all have to believe what we want and what is correct.
I just took from his post that Still_Free like ALMOST ALL of us in this Gun Culture isn't trying to do anything illigal, just someone looking for a bit better stock.

As soon as B&C is registered we will again be able to import their stocks under an export permit like several other dealers who also used to carry the line.
They are great stocks for the money.

Ya I'll be looking to get one. Can't afford a HS or Mac. with chasing the 2 boys around the hockey areana and the $1k a month in daycare. Get them guys full time in school and that 1k is mine. Hehe.

Great stock... Love mine.
