belted cases

Most of my .300 Wins are chambered with the same reamer, and respond well to full length sizing. On a loosey goosey factory chamber I'll start loading and shooting with a .010 over competition shell holder until they start chambering hard, then start counting down through the set until they chamber with the desired effort. Then I write the magic number down on the ammo box or the inside of the die box. Don't even have to adjust dies for different rifles.

I hope boot makers never catch on that handloaders are willing to fix rifle makers problems on the reloading bench. If they do, they'll make all boots over sized and include instructions on wearing from none to six pairs of socks and hints for stuffing the toes with newspaper for a perfect custom fit.

I load all cases in this manner, just size enough to close the bolt with a hint of resistance..........OK, sometimes more than a hint, but that's only the odd time when I'm not paying enough attention. Leverguns and semis get the full length everytime treatment.
