Hoping ETA will be 2 to 3 weeks. Hoping to get a M1919 1/2 scale in the second shipment for inspection and classification.
Excellent, would really like one of those to compliment its big brother.

Cocked&Locked ... Are you running the CCI Blazer's through yours are did you get it to work with another brand of ammo?
Minimags so far, still looking for blazers in my areai can tell you what DOESN't work lolMinimags so far, still looking for blazers in my area
Well maybe once these things arrive then perhaps a bulk buy of CCI Blazer ammo would be a good idea? How about it Armtac?
I think it has to be a specific type of Blazers though.
I really need to get a "brick belt"Took it out again after troubleshooting a cam spring issue. Ran cci blazer like a champ, it's fun dumping 100 round belts, and accurate to boot. 1 failure to fire (round struck, misfire) one jam in feedway (mishappen bullet)
Yes, easy to run if you do your part, but your part will involve more then just lube and load. If you bend the extractor/feed claw, or have a weak spring in the flipper cam......... but OH so much funI really need to get a "brick belt"
Armtac, are you going to bring in any of the accesories, belt boxes or brass catchers?
If anyone is in the kitchener waterloo area and wants to try one out, we can arrange to meet at Colby shooting range for a demo....you have to fill your own belt(it's the only depressing part of the exercise.....)
Yep, we will have 200rds and 300 rds belts in stock, plus brass catcher and feedbox coming with our shippment. The shipment will be here in 2 to 3 weeks.
In term of ammo, the best recommended one is the CCI Blazer with the wax coating. I am currently talking to other retailers to see who stock them.
only in canada eh? Pity!!^^^^^^^^^^^^^
That's the hard way. Too complicated.
Keep it simple.
If CanAm is right in what he is saying in another thread,
that the RCMP Lab is taking 18 months to review/classify a new gun,
then probably you are not going anywhere with your business plan.
But if you really want to kick ass, then what you want to do
is to reverse engineer that Lakeside upper,
but make it to fit the a non-restricted. Like XCR.
Or another popular non-restricted.
I wouldn't do it for Swiss,
because I don't believe their owners would like that.
I wouldn't do it for Thureon or any other obscure piece of crap either.
But the XCR is fairly popular. Maybe the ISSC too.
I bet the importers of XCR (or ISSC, after case)
would be interested to distribute your product.
So, with this upper for a non-restricted,
you will have tons of interest from the market.
Also, you don't have to to build a receiver (firearm),
and because what you build isn't a firearm,
you don't have to submit sh!t to any Lab for approval,
you don't need a firearms business license or any other headache.
Your only problem will be the supply of belts,
but I let you figure it out by yourself.
However, I have to tell you that there are other people who went
with this thing build to fit the XCR
and their project is in fairly advanced stages
(but they are known to have change their mind before at the last moment though).
Who knows, maybe you can do it before them.
Good luck.
isnt it restricted ? if so i guess its a 5 round belt with a safety pin in it
