profit trumps community everytime. Next step is the mods that made CGN what it is will start wondering why they do the work while someone else drives the beamer. Then it will just be a page of ads drummed up by your search engine.

LOL yeah Ben's slagging of LEE stuff echo'd in my ear last week as my LEE primer tool came apart in my hands, then an hour later my NIB LEE case length gauge turned out to the wrong length for the cartridge marked. Would have been a ruined hunt if my Ben approved cast in Canada Spartan press had'nt been standing by with a priming ram.
Eventually there will only be commercial interests on this board Ben is just a sympton. Sure hope the mods get a check cut everymonth now that there is revenue, hate to think they are working for free for a profit motivated bussiness.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ the trouble is ben has never screwed his cutomers hard enough to have an extra 1.5 k or so a year to chuck at a toronto office tower. So instead of CGN'rs learning that they can send personnel checks to a Canadian owned small bussiness for thier hunting, plinking and competition bullets we get to scroll to the top and choose to send out visa #s to an importer of foriegn made goods at double the price....... makes perfect sense. The other funny thing is that Ben was always plugging CGN paid dealers! If someone got a 50-70 in stock or someother thing of interest he would let folks know, more so then he ever plugged his own stuff. He also never posted any links phone #s etc. It was up to an interested person to track him down. BAsically all he would do is mention that MTchambers had a mold for the bullet that someone was looking for!
BTW MTchambers in sask is a real pleasure to do bussiness with, refreshingly old school and his bullets are basically art. I save common cals NIB like CSBs.

First time I ordered from him was a refreshing deal. Sends his product with the bill inside and you send the cheque after you get it and to top it off, even with shipping is still less expensive then buying local. Guys like him are a dying bread.
Your spot on freddy there are fewer and fewer men like Ben out there everyday. The fact that some corporate greed drove him away from CGN is crimminal IMHO. The few guys out there like Ben make patient allowances for us younger idiots everyday, it is a shame that CGN inc. would'nt extend the same courtesy to a generous old coot who just wants to help folks have fun and enjoy his craft.
BTW maybe delete the part about his billing strategy, there could be someone out there that would take advantage.

Don't worry about Ben's billing strategy.It would only happen once and if most of us CGN'rs found out who it was the guy would get slapped in the pills with a couple of Elk calls and maybe a silhouette ram.Hmmm?? makes me think of a couple other dudes.
