Bench height.

I bought the 6 foot husky bench from home depot. Its about 350 all in and it has adjustable legs. Its absolutely solid and I plan on buying a second to mount another press.

In what you will spend on lumber and time you can have an aesthetically pleasing table that will last forever. And if you dent up the nice maple top you can always replace it.

Having a heavy and secure bench is as valuable as a good press IMO

I've seen those Huskey benches.. and they are quite nice.

I came out on top for the cost on the bench I made. The lumber used was from work, sitting on my front porch for the last 2 years. I milled it on the planer and it came up great. I did have to buy the Birch plywood for the top and the shelving mounted above the bench. I have the bench lagged to the wall studs as well.

Mind cost me way less than than one of those husky and plus with nice joinery look way better! It fit my need also better by being more functional to my needs!

Got ambitious today because I was bored so decided to make a shelf for the turrets with dies installed. Still have to drill holes beside each turret for the shell holder. Can't find my proper size Forester bit so will have to buy another .The shelf slides and can be easily removed altogether.

My bench is 42" high and I usually work standing up. It's not just for the press, I clean, mount scopes etc and I find that a good height. I have always had higher counters and tables so I guess that's what I like.

Im 5'10" bench is 36". I have a tall stool so standing or sitting is not much different. Beverage fridge at one end of the bench, and a freezer full of home made goodies at the other end.
