Benefit of equipment exchange?

Thanks for the info, I’m anxiously awaiting approval to be granted access to the elusive EE forum lol.... I have a potential private sale that the seller has offered to do through the site. And judging by the some comments here it seems to be a safer alternative to review credibility. Thanks everyone
