The good news:
The guns are very reliable and actually have a faster operating action than the later S90 series.
The bad news:
Unfortunately, the 121 M1 will not accept the stocks from the later S90 models nor are any other parts interchangeable. Parts are pretty much impossible to find for these earlier guns...so if anything breaks in them you can be looking for a very long time to find them. You may even actually have to buy another complete gun in order to obtain the part you need. Another thing to note is that although the 121 M1 looks like the later S90 shotguns and is "inertia driven", it does not use the same bolt...it actually employs a tilting block versus the later S90 series rotating bolt. The Beretta Pintail uses a bolt that is similar to the 121 M1...but again no parts are interchangeable.
Loading and especially unloading is very different than any other shotgun...many joke that the esiest way to unload it is to fire it until it is runs out of ammo..which ain't far from the truth! LOL!
