Benelli M1

Hey guys,



I've got a shot at a Benelli M1 in synthetic (early Christmas present to myself) and was wondering if anyone has ever shot them and what they thought about them. This one was imported by Heckler and Koch so I'm guessing it's a touch older. How are they for reliability and breakdown? Anyone ever had any problems with theirs?

I have two Beretta 1201F almost identical to your potential Benelli M1 and love them. Wee bit more recoil with waterfowl loads but cleaner than gas-operated models. Mine just seem to fit me and swing well.

Because they're recoil-operated there's no o-rings to fail, not that that's a real issue with newer stuff out there.

I like the look of 'em, too.

finally got a chance to shoot my new to me M1 super 90 on the weekend worked great was hitting pretty good to with cheap walmart federal #8s.
