Does anyone have experience with this shotgun I held one at International Shooting Sports yesterday and was very pleased with the overall gun?

I am looking for a fast handling/reliable bear defense long gun for my father-in-law who is not overly fast with either a bolt/lever action rifles he has a Rem 597 22LR and is extremely safe using it.

While we were discussing different action types he asked if there was a semi long gun that I would recommend and this is the only one that I could come up with that would fit what he was looking for.

Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

I have the M2 Tactical with pistol grip and ghost ring sights. I also have the surefire forend (light) mounted on it. I love this gun. Much lighter than my M4 Benelli`s. I have an extended mag tube (plugged to 5) as well as the receiver top picatinny rail.

Very accurate and user friendly. The action is very smooth and reliable. The gun fits me like a glove (6' 235lbs) and is so comfortable to shoot.

I owned a regular M2 Field... the only time I had problems was with light/trap loads. It wouldn't cycle completely; it's possible it hadn't "broken in" but I kinda felt for the price I paid it should have.

Otherwise, it's very nicely made. Looks sharp! Functioned great with regular stuff.
