Benelli M3

Unless I am missing something otherwise the M3 is prohibited.

The closest you can get will be a Beretta M3P (same semi for full power load or pump for low recoil less lethal round design but non-restricted) only a hand full of them exist and they are pricey (if you can find them)

Probably an updated and different enough design that the RCMP lab doesn't consider the current imported M3's a "variant" of the older prohibited models. A new design that meets non-restricted criteria therefore a non-restricted shotgun in the FRT. Same as the Benelli M2 tactical versus the old prohibited M1 tactical model.

I sent a written request asking about the classification of the Benelli M3 and its various current models, I was advised by the Senior Firearms Technician / Specialized Firearms Support Services Section (SFSS). The SFSS Section is the policy centre / technical authority in the subject area of assigning the applicable legal class to all firearms found on the Firearms Reference Table. The Specialized Firearms Support Services Section is a component of the Firearms Investigative and Enforcement Services Directorate, RCMP, Canadian Firearms Program.

The Benelli M3 shotgun and any variants or modified versions of it is Prohibited. Please refer to the Prohibited Firearms Regulations, Part 1, Paragraph 7. This firearm is prohibited without grandfathering rights.

So much for me buying another Benelli ...

What do these have to do with the M3's?

Link doesn't work btw.

The whole site is down at the moment...I thought maybe somebody saw one of these and figured it was an M3...but if there was a list or label on Prophet's site saying Benelli M3, then nevermind!
