Benelli M4 +1 question

Received mine in the mail and it fits awesome. When I screwed it on the spring seemed to be twisting inside the tube. Is there a way to prevent this or will it even itself out? Is the follower at the other end free floating? I just dont want any feed issues due to bent spring. Thanks.

This should not cause you any serious issue. The spring should not rotate the follower either, rather turn without it.

I find if you push the follower up and down it will straighten itself out.

As others have said not a issue. Push it a few time aND the spring will settle in and not be an issue going forward
Or load and un load a few times
