There is no issue with them except the fact that they are restricted. I personally have the non restricted version and I'm loving it.

Is it possible/easy to convert the regular M4 to 14"?

Pretty sure you just swap the barrel. Saw one on EE but was asking $1700, no idea what they retail for, but for that price would just add the extra $400 and buy the whole gun.

I guess you could just order one from Stoeger Canada, or Wolverine? might be alot cheaper?
