Benelli M4 - 14 inch barrel

The 1301 is only 2" longer than an M4 14' SBS(and lighter), despite have a 18.5" barrel. Quite an amazing piece of craftsmanship the 1301 is.

Thanks for the info. What exactly did they change with the supposedly second generation of the 1301 ? Just the bolt release control, or there’s something else too ?

The Gen2 now has actual choke threading, which is awesome(I think some of the 1.5's started to come with them though too). And a slightly larger loading port as well. The upgraded release was the only really big change though.
