Benelli M4-A1

I like the QD mounts and the one piece mag tube, but its kind of meh otherwise.
 
they don't come with that mag tube. Mine came with the same corrugated one as normal, and it was all chipped up and scratched out of the box.

I do like the bigger controls and the forend. I'll get an S&J tube for it anyway.

did yours come with red and green fiberoptic sights as stated in the link?

you should take some pics if it did, we would all love to see them

So it wasn't the 5+1 tube as advertised? Congrats the SG, beautiful.

It was not. It will JUST hold 5 2 3/4, just like a factory standard version. Unless it was altered at the dealer which I doubt, it was done somewhere, and when they did it they nicked and chipped the crap out of the tube thats on it, CSC had to use touch up bluing to make it even half presentable.

I've of course added the Arridus, which I add to all my shotguns, and an Aimpoint. Usually there is a Surefire X300 on there as well but I took it off for the range the other day.

Absolutely gorgeous, Ty for posting the pics. Prehaps in the near future I will add that to my 1301 Tac, now pardon me while I go wipe the drool from my chin.
 
It is an absolute stunner, well balanced, light, great feel in the hands and on the shoulder glad I had the opportunity to handle it at the Stoeger booth during TACCOM, will definitely make the purchasing decision easier.

Who paid $2800? I sure didn’t. And for extended controls, fiber sights, and the rail-capable forend on the A1 you’d be the same price as adding those bits to a used one for $2K.

$2539 at CSC when they had them, so 2670 tax in. Same price as a standard version almost anywhere.

Still adds up fast to buy the bits. I’d say more based on my browsing. Even in the EE the cheapest I could buy a used M4, the extended handle, GG&G release, and a forend was $2500-2700

Yup you are right....just the amount of investment to something that i might not be using after this ban crap thats all lol
