Benelli M4 alert

That is a really good price. I don't know much about the M4 aside from seeing it in John Wick movies, but I currently have two pumps and was thinking a long time about a semi auto (mostly for recoil management). My LGS has the Benelli MR1 (I think that's what it's called) looks like a semi auto too that is tactical look and feel. Any reason to get this one over that one (which is about $200 cheaper)

The price when I first posted was a sale and while I don't remember the exact amount it was several hundred less than the current price.

Yup it was $2240 I think? Of course that's gone, just bumping the thread with the current best price I found today since it wasn't a dealers thread.

Sorry to steal your thunder. ;)

Naw, :), I just didn't want people thinking that I thought their current price is the best when obviously it's gone up a lot.
Thanks for the info, that is the best price at the moment.

FOr sure, especially when the guns are going for retail+ in the EE.

From what I could see they vanished from stores when the somewhat doubtful clones came out, so it's great to see them back on the market at any price, the best tac gun on the market, IMO. Just a reminder that this version of the BM4 with the collapsing stock have Restricted status, unless the turd took that off with his OIC. Which I don't think happened.

18.5 with the stock aren't restricted, never have been. The 14" were though. Was it 14"? I think so. They were also less expensive.

As I understand it, and I hope I'm wrong, it's the adjustable stock that makes the difference, and you can't buy a fixed length stock and change the status because this is Liberal Run Canada.

I had a local retailer tell me that all the adjustable stock models came in as restricted for them. But there are a ton of retailers (cabelas included) that sell them with only a PAL (not RPAL) requirement. Where is all this talk of restricted coming from and is it warranted? There may be a lot of 'Liberal Criminals' out there without knowing it.

The shorter ones were restricted because when collapsed they were too short overall. The 18.5's are long enough to have the C-stock without making them restricted. Not sure where the "restricted 18.5" idea came from, but it's not true.

I think maybe you were thinking of the American legal issues with the c-stock? I think that is a legal issue.

Funny because I've got a field stock coming for mine, and the c-stock will likely sit in the box for eternity.

Might be worth putting it up on the EE. Maybe. I see they sell for a small fortune in the U.S. but don't know how much demand there'd be here.

I typically hang onto the OEM stuff, but they do seem to draw value down south where they are aftermarket only I think? The field stock cost enough too, wow.

I do remember seeing that American dealers were selling new M4s with both stocks; I think the fixed stock was the accessory. The MSRP was similar to the Canadian one for just one stock, I mean allowing for the currency exchange.

Cabela's had one in the clearance section at $1550. I told the guy i'll take it, but it rang up as full price and they did not want to honor it a $1550.
