I'm thinking hard on this one. Italian Sporting Goods has them on for $1900 so it's pretty tempting but I'm wondering how durable the camo finish is on these. Anyone have any first hand experience?

I cant speak to the durability of the finish but the M4 is awesome - my favourite shotgun and I have several including a Tac Ord Versamax.

I generally run a red dot but sometimes use the irons too - either way its rifle accurate to 50 and I've shot steel with slugs out to 100.

I plan to send it for a Tac Ord makeover to really seal the deal.

For 1900 grab it !!!!!

Or either of the ones on EE are a score

If Paint chips re paint or cerekote

No matter what finish you buy, there will be scratches and wear, this gun is a work horse

Dude buy it.

Cabelas in abby had one used, same camo pattern. It was is great shape - it was 1800 used.

I just bought one black at cabelas...I paid 2300 taxes in.

I would have bought that instead for the savings. when the finish wears too much send it for fresh cerakote

Horrible reviews though.

i am going to have to disagree with your second-hand assessment, based on my first-hand experience with the HAYLE Rail. The only "fussy" part of the Rail's installation or removal is the requirement to loosen and tighten 4x Grub Screws which are loosened for Rail removal and tightened to cinch the Rail down firmly to the shotgun during assembly. While a single tool is required for the Rail removal and installation, the process remains incredibly fast and simple.

The HAYLE Rail may not be the perfect MLOK Layout, etc, but it works well enough to mount flashlights, IR Projectors,, lasers, a VFG, and so forth to the front of your Benelli M4. The price was pretty reasonable and the quality of the machining is very good. Lacking other options for an M4 Railed Handguard, the HAYLE Rail works pretty well!

Horrible reviews based on having to remove for maintenance, no different than having to remove my tube extension clamp for maintenance. Doesn't make it a bad product. Just makes for lazy people, making bad reviews.

While it's TRUE I dont have any first hand experience, I wouldn't buy one based on the issue with mlok tabs rubbing against material. Those who have purchased in this thread havent done an amazing job of selling them.
