Benelli M4 Field Stock removal

I have read in a few places that you need to remove trigger assembly and unscrew stock.
I found this thread on Benelli forum where he removed stock pad and threaded nut but no mention of removing trigger assembly BUT post also seems to be missing info on how to remove stock retaining piece.

Seems logical to do remove trigger assembly and unscrew but thought I would stop by here for confirmation before proceeding.

You have to remove the trigger assembly as it has a nub that prevents the stock from turning while it's in place.

Thanks Grain! Figured as much when I seen that nub.
Kind of a pita compared to Berettas.
Replacing stock with Panzer walnut.

Just need to install M8-1.0 bolt and it is complete.
Next will be wood or mlok type forend.
