Benelli M4 full-length mag tube legality?

Is a full length mag tube, plugged to pacify the Canadian suits (5 rounds in mag), legal? It would be kind of like plugging your 18" 870 Police in order to go duck hunting.
I just hate so much that the BM4 comes with that silly crimped mag tube extension thingy.

** I am not touching on the legality of purchasing/acquiring this full-length mag tube, so please stick to the topic. And please do not answer unless you know for sure, or else this topic will turn into a 35 page debate about what the price of bread is on Mars.

What sling is that?

Don't know. I use the Tactical Link Interceptor 2 Point Sling.

The shotgun started out as a 14" restricted gun. I bought the 18.5" barrel after the fact. Then I bought a +2 extension and plugged it internally so the overall capacity of the magazine fully assembled is 5.9 rounds of 3". This allows me to fit 6 x 2 3/4" shells legally.

Smart. Never thought of plugging it using 3" shells. Good idea.

I have the OEM Benelli extended tube on my M4 and it was plugged with a dowel and expoxy thus making it quite legal. There are some fairly good aftermarket tubes that match the original finish of the M4 as the OEM Benelli tube is hard to find now.
