Hello ,in these uncertain times (possible ban)what would be your opinions on what to buy?one is a semi and about 600 more and one is a full decked out custom pump.Interested in all your opinions as if this was your money you were spending. Thanks all

Normally I'd say M4, but there''s a good chance of it being prohibited soon.

As far as tactical pumps go, the Fabarm STF-12 and Ithaca 37 are in the same class as the "tuner" 870s IMO.

It's depend on what you want to do with it, both are excellent shotgun and each has different purpose, the US marine still doesn't replace their to completely semi yet so there are something good about the pump.

Keep in mind that 870 is a pump then you can go as short as 26 inch OAL length whereas semi auto is limited to 18.5 inch barrel to be non restricted, and it's a bit cumbersome to carry around.

A 14 inch 870 is perfect for almost everything, get both is the best advice.

How about a Tacord M4?

Factory guns can be very good, a gun built by hand, by an expert is better. There's a difference in philosophy and methodology, and a pump requires a different skill set, but a pump can be at least as effective as a semi. It comes down to the user (see below). Neither of these is a bad choice unless the Benelli gets banned.

Well though out my friend,thanks

Are you betting that any future prohibition of semi auto will lead to confiscation or grandfathering?

Is your plan to fight to the death with law enforcement officers who come to confiscate your firearms or hide them in the mud to never see the light of day again?

Will either-or bring you any more practical use, or a bigger smile on your face for a longer period than the other?

They show no mods or parts available for the M4 on their site!!!!!

They rework M4s for sure - if you email them they will send a list of whats possible and prices.

I've got the list but my wallet isn't well enough to take the plunge yet.

Casey seems like a great guy and does awesome work. I have a Tac Ord Versamax already and they are quality.
