Benelli M4 Sign Question

Does anyone know what diameter, thread pitch and length the rear sight adjustment screws? The previous owner removed them for some reason.

Brownells says its' "5x.8 metric. The length of the threaded portion is .420" and the head is .350" wide." but I don't think that's right.
 
Are you looking for the windage or elevation adjustments?

For the elevation:

One of their dimensions was correct. the threaded length is 0.420" (8.5mm) long.

The head is 0.295" (7.5mm) wide

As for the thread pitch... it looks like M3.5 x 0.6 but I don't have the right thread pitch gauge to check. It's smaller than an M4 metric and won't fit into the M3 metric thread pitch gauge so I guess 3.5 seems right??? Sights screws are always weird to get the close proximity to .5 or .25 moa "clicks"...

Also, the underside of the screw has knurling for the "click adjustments"


The windage screw is the same type but longer, it's 0.695" long (like 17.7mm???)

If you're looking to replace these with hardware store screws, I doubt you'll be able to replace them with the proper types because of the knurling on the underside of the head...

Your best bet is to actually try Stoeger Canada and see if they have the windage and elevation screws available. If not, they are LPA branded rear sights, so you can try contacting LPA sights in Italy and see if they can ship some out (or their Canadian supplier - "Fusion Firearms" I've never heard of them)

Anyways hope that sets you in the right direction.

Thank you, that's what I was looking for. I'm going to need both the windage and elevation adjustments. I'll fight the urge to tap it to a common size and contact Stoeger Canada.
 
Fusion firearms is in the US and they used to ship to Canada but unknown if they still do.

The two screws are special in that they have "detent" marks on the bottoms of the heads to keep them from moving unless acted upon by a screwdriver;)

Ik now this is going to sound weird. The Dlask 1911 rear sight uses the same principle, call them and see if they have that screw and if it matcbes your spec
