Benelli M4 Super90 Initial Range Review

Is that extention hollow all the way through or does it have plug in it
When I got mine, and honestly can't recall who the manufacturer is, it had a spring clip plug in it. You could remove it, but it was a real bugger.
Again, not sure who made it, too long ago.

Oh and of course I didn't remove it, that would be against the cukier code and would anger socks mckenzie.

For anyone interested, great boxing day deal on the M4 Super90 from Tenda.

Normal price before was $2599 - $2799 (at various retailers). $2309 is fantastic. G4C had it for $2309 boxing day sale too but they have since sold out. Tenda still has some so if you want one this is probably the best time to get it.

The M4 is just a fine specimen, from the packaging to the construction/worksmanship/engineering and how smooth it operates. It definitely set me back, but I have zero regrets getting it whatsoever.

I put 100 rounds of cheap birdshot through mine with 3 failures . Cleaned it and now over 3,000 buck and slugs since the one cleaning without a failure . SJ Hardware for the mag tube and maybe charging handle . I put Mesa Tactical butt with a riser and fore stock on mine . I don't like or need the collapsible stock as i don't wear body armor and a couple of inches doesn't matter to me plus i want my cheek on a riser . Aimpoint T2 Micro on top and with 3 inch mag Brenneke Exact slugs it will shoot 5 into 3 to 4 inch groups at 100 yards and nail the 12 inch plate at 200 yards all day long .

So I took the M4 to the range again today. Instead of shooting all low recoil or managed recoil rounds like I did the first time, I brought some regular velocity (Federal LE Hydra Shok) slugs. With regular velocity, I didn't notice a significant difference between what I shot today and the previous managed/low recoil stuff. 65 slugs shot this afternoon, not even a sore shoulder today (yay!) - nada. May be time to move up to 3" slugs next week...haha...

But the better news is that these rounds fed and ejected perfectly. Not a single problem whatsoever. So I think those who mentioned the break-in period and using regular/high velocity rounds were spot on.

Thing runs like a champ. Never thought I'd look forward more to shooting slugs than my rifle and PCC rounds. So fun!

The M4 is great at eating up recoil, very pleasant to shoot!

3" slugs are no problem.

Now the 3.5" supermags out of my 14" supernova tac..... that's an interesting experience :p
