Benelli M4 tactical muzzle breaks

Grizzly Gunworks makes a ton of different muzzle-brakes for shotguns.

They probably make one to fit your gun.
 
As the post says "just under $200". Its sucks big time. There are literally no other options for tactical benelli items. Its an extra full benelli crio choke. The price is absolutely ridiculous. Keep in mind they retail for around $110usd.

If you make start making decent chokes for benellis im sure you'll have a lot of customers

WTF 200 bucks? The one I got for my M4s90 from Al's was 80 bucks plus shipping...

I know some of the fancier ones are pricier, but I don't think the basic chokes are outlandishly expensive. If you want to get the higher end one that's cool though, but it's not like every Benelli choke is 200 bucks :p

Way back when I got mine, it was 100 bucks for the breacher, and 50 bucks for the extended threaded choke. I'll bet the cost has gone up now, but not that much! (Just checked and it's 120 for the breacher, and probably 60 or 70 for the choke, so less than 200 still)

I don't use this one anymore, but it's a lot beefier than the little screw in model I posted above.

Just a choke is not too expensive. However, choke plus muzzle break combos are. Mine lists for $119 usd from carlson's. Ship to als in canada...his cost....then shipped to me... $180

Yep, way back when before I put the permanent picatinny section on the handguard hanger. It was one of those garbage little .22 Weaver rings that only screws in on one side. Doesn't hold zero at all even on a .22 but worked fine for a light! Although I have a little better ring for it now :p

I bought the exact same tactical breacher choke for my m2 and although its expensive (just under $200 canadian shipped) it make the gun look so badass.

For those running muzzle breaks on their shotguns, do you find a noticeable difference in terms of recoil and muzzle rise running one?

I don't own one, but have shot a few, some are surprisingly effective although I'd probably rather have a dedicated flash hider.

As far as I'm concerned though, an extended ventilated muzzle device's primary function is to protect the muzzle from dings and filling up with dirt.
 
I've shot mine with the carlson breacher which is vented, and while it does make some difference in felt recoil; it's not a lot. Maybe like 5-10% if that when shooting slugs? (Less with buck shot)

Shotguns operate on a fairly low pressure which brakes and porting don't do a ton to help with.

The big thing with the Vang Comp treatment in shotguns is the extended forcing cone, which make much more difference than the porting does.

A nice recoil pad does more for the recoil than a muzzle device would, the M4 has a very rigid pad; so I put a grind-to-fit Limbsaver pad on my M4 when I put the strait stock on it. (If you have a tele-stock you won't be able to put the pad on without some figuring, and you'll lose the ability to collapse the stock all the way, FWIW)
 
Shotgun brakes (and barrel porting like Vang Comp) tend to help with muzzle climb a lot more than felt recoil.

Even a modest improvement as far as keeping the gun more level during firing can be a big help with some shotguns.

I am very happy with this set up.

Rides very well slung across my chest and is a pleasure to shoot at anything I decide to shoot at.

I look forward to running this when 3 gun comes around.....

Looks great.

I'm still collecting parts for my new M4. Mine will look similar to yours; I've got the B&T forend and the muzzle brake.

Anyone know where I might find a GG&G Benelli M4 Tactical Bolt Release Pad? The only place I've found that carries them is CTCS and they're out of stock.
