Can you by chance take the trigger group out and post up pictures of the left/right side? And of the receiver itself with the trigger group in? (as I have shown above)
Have you taken the buttstock (for a fixed PG stock) of the tele-stock's pistol grip off at all? As the rear "tang" on the trigger group sits into the receiver and is held in place with the buttstock, if the pistol grip was taken off and not installed back tightly it could rotate along the axis of the takedown pin a little bit.
It should not be moving or rotating, or rocking at all though, ESPECIALLY rocking along the barral axis, does the receiver seem to be "opened" up at all? it should be perfectly strait back and forth on the inside and outside, do you have a strait edge or ruler you can use to judge how "flat" the sides of the receiver are?
It honestly sounds like something ain't right, there should be literally zero movement of the trigger group when it's in and the takedown pin is in place. From what you're describing, it sounds like the gun had an OOB detonation and bent the receiver... Is this a newly purchased gun or a buy off the EE or something? I can't find any way to make the trigger group in my M4 even so much as "wiggle" let alone rotate or rock in any direction at all. My gun has probably 2-3000 rounds of buckshot/slugs and target load through it.
If you can't take pics, I took some good images of mine so you can compare the trigger groups and see if anything is damaged looking or missing.

I would recommend NOT putting another round through that thing, you may have to send it back to Stoeger Canada anyways and have them look it over, unless it's just something silly I'm overlooking. Look over the pics of the trigger group I put up carefully, and make sure your trigger group is in the same condition, also check out how flat the receiver is and see if there is any bends or bulges in the receiver, there should NOT be the room for the trigger guard to rotate in any direction, except for along the takedown pin with the stock taken off.
