So right now I'm using a MESA side saddle with the picatinny rail on it. Looking at some parts from Carrier Comp, muzzle device/choke tube and oversize charging handle.Any other owners with any upgrades?

I put a Mesa Tactical sidesaddle on mine as well, also have a B&T rail system with a MagPul AFG. VCAS sling tops off all the mods on my M4. Rock solid shotgun that is tricked out nice and tactical.

I like the rail and AFG, really balances the front heavy M4 nicely during training drills at the range.

Tacticalshotgunner.com is a great place for accessories.

I did oversized safety and charging handle... Both VERY much worth the minimal cost! They have bigger release buttons too, but didn't go that route. Also, night sights were cheap from TSG as well. Didn't bother with mag tube either, since it would just be for looks (plugged to five).

Any comment on these types of belt shell holders?
One type better than the other?

Mesa side saddle for 8 rounds double sided taped to the reciever, and a piece of high pressure rubber hose on the charging handle....I know it sounds ghetto, but you couldnt tell its hose, and it works marvelous, grippy and easy to grab.cost me 6 bucks at cambodian tire and I have a bunch of it left over.

Huh - that's actually a pretty good idea! Granted the oversized CH is only like $20, but still, very ingenious!

The Cali comp shell holders are awesome, especially for competition, get the 4 round shell holder, that way you can grab all four shells at once. The 6 round shell holder are too long when worn up front on your belt, makes sitting and kneeling uncomfortable. If you're gona use them for competition get al least 6 of them, makes reloading super fast and easy.

imho you can't improve perfection! the only thing i have on mine is a sling...i plan to add a red dot one of these days but that's it. i don't want to dress it up any further.

Try a reflex site or a Doctor Optic type mini site. They are small and work well.

Yup... All I have is a velcro/elastic side-saddle a sling and a large bolt release paddle...

I find or see all too often that hanging too much crap on any gun just leads to problems.

oh god, I bought a fabarm martial proforces a bit ago and have yet to shoot it. Now I am thinking about selling it and funding an M4. What do you guys think other then the pump-semi??
