Benelli M4 Wood Furniture

LOL, There isn't a difference. I believe Claybuster was just pointing out the hypocrisy of the black gun crowd. Fine to use a term incorrectly when they are doing it (furniture) but let someone else use a black gun term incorrectly (magazine/clip) and they are all over the offender.
Exactly right. The black gun crowd gets its panties in a bunch when an inaccurate term is used (magazine/clip, high capacity magazine, assault rifle) but when they use a term incorrectly they become fiercely proud of their ignorance and judge those who use the correct term as "elitist."

You may encounter some challenges especially with the forestock as the plastic forestock is actually two pieces to enclose the dual pistons up front and give you something to hang on to. Those dual pistons are unique to the M4 I believe (perhaps there is another shotgun that uses a dual setup but have not heard of it myself) I suspect this would be the chief challenge going to a woodstock and likely where you will end up spending some dollars making a one off piece.

As for the weekend mall ninja tacticool crowd, if that's what blows your kilt up then great...keep shooting but don't take yourselves so damn serious and get your gitch in a twist should you be corrected on terminology from time to time.

Here is a photo I found on the net. I don't know if this is legit, an airsoft or a photo shop. The forend looks a bit like one off an 870.

Based on some casual searching it would appear the M4 doesn't share a common stock with the M2. Without having the pieces in front of you there is no way of knowing if they would swap. It is always possible to have a stock made from scratch but that would probably be worth more than the gun itself.

It does look pretty nice though. Adds a touch of class to an otherwise bland looking black gun.
