Today at the range i put 24 orange clays pidgeons at 350 metres this is the furhtest i can shoot at my range... on the sand bag shooting my 52 gr A-max reloads i shoot 25 bullets to brake the 24 clays, this MR-1 rifle is something else... the coyotes are in big trouble, i guess my 220 Swift wont see much action this fall... JP.

Real nice. What was the load and what was the optic?

My reload is 27 gr of Varget compressed CCI BR-4 primer Heavy crimp Federal case 2.210 OAL give me a tad under 3400 fps and in My Benelli it give 1.1 at 100 metres my scope i did put one of my TRG 5X25X56 S&Bender Tactical... JP.

I might try a longer OAL all the way up to 2.260".

After load devellopement at 2.210 it really shrunk the group, i did found the sweet spot for the jump... lower oal group open..... higher oal group open to, so i guess that number is the good one for my MR-1... Cheers. JP... JP.

I was thinking of getting a Robinson XCR, but the Benelli Mr-1 also has my interest. From what you write, is sure seems like a nice gun.

It is above all my expectation, imagine i had a mini-14 before, talk of a change in the accuracy departement but the mini was a good rifle just not to accurate over 200 metres... JP.

I've been hunting with an R1 for years and wondered about the MR1.

Sounds like I have to start shopping!
Great info!

Always said the MR1 was a good, reliable, accurate rifle, not sure why they market it as a CQB weapon, its a capable service rifle.

(Caveat, it doesn't fit me well personally)
