im looking for a good coyote gun and something to play with at the range, im looking for something in the tactical style but almost everything i look at is restricted, has anyone used the benelli mr1 or have any other suggestions for a good tactical rifle that is non-restricted?

I like the ergos of the MR1 (I know, it's different than an AR and so therefore it must be crap...but I don't own or shoot AR's, so the MR1 feels fine to me!), and thanks to caramel's enthusiastic posts I have gone out of my way for a chance to shoot one a bit. Feels good, shoots well...then I look at it and remember that it's one of the ugliest rifles I've ever seen.
Consider a Mini14. I have a Target model, a MOA shooter with reloads and close to MOA with a number of factory loads. Easier to mount a scope than the MR1, and even the regular ranch models are shooting very well these days. Stainless, reliable, fun to shoot. I haven't been without at least one mini for something like 25 years or so, and I like them better today than ever.
I also know how the haters will appear in this thread, so to save myself some 3rd-degree burns I won't come back into this thread.

all NR black rifles have their pros and cons but try them out at the store and see what you like best, I have a MR1 and have tried a friends XCR and Tavor and they are all good. if you can afford it take a look at a Swiss Arms.
do you know of any canadian swiss arms dealers?

Not a dealer necessarily but Al Simmons in Ontario has one of the last SA Classic Green rifles I've seen for sale in Canada right now.
There looks like a Black Special for sale at Astor Arms also if it's still there.
Wanstalls had one carbine and two CQBs left when I was in there a few days ago, no Black Specials or Classic greens. They said they have more SA on order but like most things in the firearms industry, wait and it'll be here when it's here... Epps is all out of NR Swiss Arms. Wolverine, TSE, etc., etc. ditto. Everyone is waiting for more it seems. Sure would make a nice coyote gun...

The XCR would be one other option. (inb4 loctite jokes). I wouldn't go for the Tavor if you're planning on taking shots above 200 yards or so. Not that it's a bad rifle, but the heavy trigger makes it difficult to make good kill shots at longer distances (IMO at least, Tavor owners feel free to school me on this). The SL8 is also another strong contender, especially with an AR-15 magwell conversion kit.
You're limited to pistol calibers, so much beyond 100 yards and I wouldn't recommend it.
Yah, a friend of mine has the MR1, and accuracy is definitely one of its strong points. If I were to take one rifle to war, it would be the Swiss Arms, but for a moderately priced and accurate tactical/varminting rifle, the MR1 fits the bill quite well.
