Benelli Nova - Used - Input Required

Haven't shot the Nova or Super Nova, but love shooting my friend's Super Black Eagle (check it out if you are going for a semi!). I've spent lots of time handling the Nova's in the stores and they feel really nice to me, but I don't think the price is right in this case or even brand new when you can have 2 or even 3 barrel combos in Remingtons or Mossbergs.
I'm with you on the Mossbergs though, I hate the feel of them. Have tried the 500s, 800s and even 900s and don't like the way any of them point compared to an 870.
That's the way I'm going now--- got rid of my Mossbergs and I'm either going to save up for the Benelli SBE or the 870 if I can't wait and go with a pump action.

My $0.02

Ya, I've handled an SBE.....very nice. I prefer semi's too, so I will likely pursue that route once I'm able and the youngun is outfitted with his pump.

I should likely take a look at some Remingtons, but ya, didnt really like the mossbergs at all....

i have a 870 and a 535 and i will say i take the 535 mosberg out every time .the mossberg is a great gun for the money .The but pad on the nova does not come off and the stock can not be shimmed to soften the recoil DUTCH

i have a 590a1, 870, both are well broken in with 6000 rounds through each. i also have a benelli super nova w/ pistol grip and ghost ring sights. all 3 are great guns, it's very hard to compare them...i swear by my supernova, point of aim is superior, brand new out of the box the action cycles flawlessly without any sticking spots. ejects any type of ammunition ive ran through it. equally easy field strip amongst the 3. 5 inch grouping at 100 yards with foster rifles slugs. absolutely no malfunctions whatsoever with going on 2000 rounds down the tube. the supernova is light, durably, and dependable. if skynet ever look over the world, id want that supernova over a 590a1 or 870. you will not be disapointed.
