To be more helpful, I Read some reviews online about this gun and found nothing negative. I am going to buy the super nova if I move up north for work as my general purpose/bear gun. I have handled them in the gun shop and the action feels different but as someone said to me: different is not bad, its just different. It uses a different action lockup than on guns like the 870, some type of rotary lockup. I read the manual online and disassembly looks very straight forward.

these are great shotguns had a nova and now a super nova tactical (all black not the cool camo) they function flawlessly and are a breeze to maintain.if you get the pistol grip model you have to loosen the stock before you remove the trigger assembly but the action stays quite clean so you only need to do it once in a while
sp-10, I would have expected that you would get more answers. Where I work, I sell these and they are really popular. I have handled one many times, but I have never shot one. I am not aware of any coming back. One customer asked for an extra barrel which would have taken a long time. One fellow bought 4 from me. He said that he bought 4 last year as well. He takes clients with money out to shoot released pheasant and provides equipment for those who do not have. He also said they are great goose guns.
