Anyone know if there are plans to bring these into Canada? (with a 3 round plug to restrict the mag cap to 5)
Pretty slick competition gun, but I haven't seen any buzz about them in Canada - if you have any info, please share!

Every store dealing Benelli has these or can order them as they are made in US ………just google ……lol

Horrible quality actually. Most of them in my area at the local gun shops went right back to Remington and were never reordered.

Retaining pins recoiling out, bent barrels, misaligned sight ribs, the cap at the top of the magazine tubes have also been flying off.

I'd vote go with the Winchester SX3, fastest semi auto on the planet, and not a single one returned or brought back yet.

It's funny that you said this because when I was looking for a semi-auto shotgun, the great guys at Wolverine suggested I check out a Versamax. I got the Benelli but checked out a Versamax over at Jo-Brooks and I nearly puked in my mouth after handling it. Just like you said, bent barrel, misaligned sight rib, bolt handle was wanted slightly downwards and would bind up on the receiver.
 
looks like they took a Benelli M2 with a 21" vented rib barrel, and added the following:
- Hiviz Competition Fiber optic front sight
- Nordic Components +5 round mag extension tube (would have to be plugged)
- Nordic Components Barrel clamp
- Nordic Components oversized charging handle and bolt release
- maybe a machined follower and custom choke

Sounds easy enough to assemble ...
 
I have nothing but good things to say about my Versamax Tactical. Its solidly built and well finished.

Perhaps all those complaints were about the first batch of regular (cheaper) models.. who knows. Mine runs like a tank.
