Hi fellas,
Does anybody have scope and sights? I am have the rifle and thinking to install both. Do you have this kind of combination and which scope do you think goes well with this rifle? Thank you

With my 300 Win Mag R1 the previous owner didn't bother with the factory sights option, and so it came with a monster Bushnell Banner 6x18x50.

The scope worked pretty well for the rifle, but after a few trips to the range I found the crappy B-squared Lynx mounts the previous owner had installed falling apart...total garbage IMHO. Do Talley rings instead.

Also for a laugh I used it with a cheap Tasco Red dot, and found it surprisingly effective as 300 win mag is pretty flat out to 100 meters anyway. :D

If I wasn't selling this rifle (need the money) I would buy the original Iron/glow sight package made by Benelli. But I would probably have to use a smaller scope to clear the rear sight.

Also if you don't have it on your rifle I'd suggest the factory scope rail as it is pretty bomb proof IMHO.

I sold my R1 here and still have the scope and the rings. The gun didn't have the sights on them and I never even think about putting the sights anyways. I am a scope guy and always uses the best possible scopes for all my guns. I had a swarovski scope on it which was $1000 more then the gun.
