Hi . Sorta new to the forums but bought a few rifles from here . Question , does anyone have any tips or hints on assembling a Benelli R1 ? I'm having one heck of a time trying to get the barrel into the reciever and locked down .

It shouldn't take a gunsmith lol!

Take a look on youtube for assembly videos. Many Benelli's are a little quirky to take down/put back together. Once you get the hang of it, it's super quick.

You should be able to download or at least look at the manual on the Benelli web sight .

My R1 goes together great. What kind of trouble are you having?

It goes together when the bolt is not in , when you put the bolt into possition and try to slide the upper and lower units togther , it seems to jam up on the slide part where the brass colored V is . If you look there , its a male and female ' slide ' that has problem mating or , sliding together .

Best to post some pics, I have no idea what you're talking about. Mine goes together fine and you may have to work the bolt to help the upper/lower click together.

Finally , managed to get it all together . I hope this rifle shoots well after all this lol .
