I bought a Benelli SBE II and I prefer to sling it on the outboard side of the stock. (some great sling info here) I also bought a Mesa shell carrier to keep different loads close while hunting. The issue was the the mesa carrier only had a sling mount on one side. Shells on one side sling on the opposite. My solution was to weld on a sling loop onto the same side as the shell holder. It's a small mod, but makes it a better fit for me.
