I put a little piece of Picatinny rail under the handguard, it's a pain to put it there because of the ribbing inside the handguard, but it's a nice place for it.

The supernova handguard isn't really the best shape to put a light on, and there's no room for a mag clamp.

Use 2 rivets to secure your Picatinny rail to the fore-end along with a thin coating of PL Premium, you might have to file the rivet down if it gives you clearance troubles upon reassemble. I did the same on my OEM Beretta 1301Tac fore-end.

You also might want to try taping off the area around where the Pic rail sits and Dremel those ribs to flat for a more positive adhesion.


I like your ingenuity, instead of buying off the shelf.

Anyone have an idea on where to get the GG&G mount in Canada?

I called Wolverine awhile ago and they mentioned possibly getting a GG&G shipment in the first quarter of 2022, I’m hoping to get the upgraded mag-tube follower. The CDM MTRS mod is probably the best looking option I’ve seen for a light mount.

...good news. I was prepared to wait a spell for my order, but most of it came in today. Less than 2 weeks from order. I'm impressed, and the prices are on point.
There are still 2 items outstanding (back ordered)...we'll see how long that takes. Long story short, I'll deal with them again as I'm a fan of GG&G and it's hard to get up here.

It took them MANY months to get Mini-14 handguard to me and they sent me the wrong colour. The owner is sketchy, and will not reply to your questions and will not answer phone calls.

I did receive the remainder of the order perhaps a month after the initial shipment. So, maybe 6 weeks?

They are drop shippers, but I got my gear.
