im looking for a 20g for my girl, and the original plan of getting her a nice O/U is failing as anything less than $2000 ive looked at is distinctly lacking in quality. and i would always regret not spending more.. but shes a new shooter, and wont be using it that much. so im thinking a nice pump would be good..

i loved my Benelli supernova. much prefer it to the remingtons etc.. but i really want a 20g for the lighter weight and reduced recoil. shes pretty small.

so, does anyone know if there are any plans to get the super nova in 20g.. it seems much nicer than the nova..
thanks

I'm not a fan of pumps or semis, however, I have owned the 20ga Nova and it is a well designed/finished shotgun....a Super Nova version won't change that much. A 20 or more preferably 28ga Wingmaster LW would be even better.

The CZ Canvasback or the Mallard (both O/U shotguns) in 20ga will serve well in the (usage) scenario that you have mentioned.

My wife LOVES deer hunting & has a Stevens 200 in 243 AND a Excalibur Vixen... She's taken 4 deer & a bear so far...

She occassionally goes upland & chasing waterfowl, so she chose a Reminton 870 in 20 ga. She's harvested a bunch of ducks & some geese, and says she wants to do more goose hunting...

She also has a couple rifles mostly for fun. A PINK Ruger 10/22 and a PINK Norinco M4. Both of which are fun as heck at the range!

Not all your outdoor gear has to be expensive, it just has to WORK!

Cheers
Jay
