Benelli Supernova Tactical 14" (5+1 mod?)

Hey guys,

I've been looking at acquiring a Benelli Supernova Tactical in 14" and was wondering if anyone had done a mod to achieve 5+1 2 3/4 rounds? How much room is needed in the tube to squeeze an extra round in?

I think S&J makes a +1 for the supernova that'll allow you to get that fifth shell in. It may give you a tad more room than you need though, but it's the shortest one that I've seen.

I measured it once upon a time, and I think you need around an inch to get the last shell in, it sticks out like 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch depending on what kind of crimp is on the shell.

Do you know if there is a picture kicking around of it installed on a 14"? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet.
