Benelli supernova vs. browning bps vs. Remington 870 wingmaster vs. mossberg 500

Although I use a winchester SXP black shadow, it was a tough choice between that and the browning. All have their pros and cons, I bought the Winchester all on feel, plus it was less then 450$. These are my choices after the winchester

1. Browning BPS

2. Benelli Supernova

3. Remington 870

4. Mossberg 500

Have you considered the SXP? cause I didn't until I picked one up at the store and shouldered it.

Browning bps for sure. From all the Winnie's, remingtons, and mossbergs I have used the bps is a much smoother action also bottom ejection rocks.

Remington 870 Wingmaster, Browning BPS, Benelli Supernova, Mossberg 500.

Although a good gun, the one fault of the Benelli Supernova is that it requires a longer stroke to cycle the action than the other 3. When quick doubles present themselves many people tend to "short stroke" them, causing the gun to jam. In serious competition, a short stroke is considered operator error and will result in a "lost" target.

Well said. The wingmaster period for just trap and yes I own bps and 500's also.:)

I have 2 bps pumps, a 28 and a 410. I love them both and am looking for a 20ga. I think they are the best choice of the guns you mentioned. The bottom eject and tang safety are great for trap, skeet or hunting. I still cant decide if I like them better than my model 12 winchesters.

All 4 of those guns are decent quality, it really comes down to your personal feel. Go to the store and pick them up and shoulder them, rack them a few times and see what feels better. You can just buy a gun because someone says they like it. Everyone is made differently and different guns fit different people better or worse. Go to the store and play around with the guns and see which one you like best.
