Benelli Vinci / Trap loads

I just got one. Ran 100 winchester 7/8ths ounce #9's extra-lites through it and it worked fine. I didn't expect this at all but it worked great.
 
My brother has one, we always shoot federals on the farm and it never seemed to have any problems. Then after a season of duck hunting, we were at a sporting clays shoot.

He had problems with the federals there wouldnt cycle, but switched to winchester trap which we never shoot and it cycled all of them perfectly fine.
