Benelli vs Stoeger

stoeger, benelli, beretta are all made by the same company now. they were all brought under the parent company a couple years ago. quality wise, the stoeger's are not on the same page as the other 2, but they are still made well. good entry level shotgun.

Stoeger and Benelli are made by different companies. The Stoeger is made in Turkey and the Benelli is made in Italy. Both companies are owned by the same $money$ that owns Beretta. In Canada, all stoeger, beretta and bennelli guns are imported by Stoeger Canada. The Stoeger P-350 is a mostly reliable pump, but lay it side by side a B Nova and it does not take an expert to tell which is the more quality product. I would expect both to deliver the same snot bubbling recoil experience mentioned by Claybuster:dancingbanana:

I read about more than a few stuck shoke tubes on the p350. I don't know about prices by you, but if it was me, I pay the extra 100 for a nova.

That is one thing that I would not blame on gun make. Choke tubes are just simple threaded devices. I am not a clean or maintenance freak, but for me no choke tube goes in without lube. At the end of many shooting sessions I may not clean, but tube comes out and is re lubed. The good stuff and the cheap #### all have the potential of getting stuck.:D
