I picked up one of these thinking I could use it for gopher extermination on my acreage but I can't hit anything with it. I've tried four different kinds of pellets as well as pulling off the factory counter point scope and putting an eotech on it and I still can't hit anything. I'm getting about a 5" group at 25 yards. Is there anything that I should try before I just give up on this whole unit and start snaring my gophers?

Shooting a spring gun is much different from a normal gun. They are hold sensitive, and must be held in a certain way to get accurate shots. They are also very hard on scopes and require special scopes to hold up to the double recoil.

I have the XL in .22, haven't shot it much, so I can't comment on accuracy. I have read the the .22 and .25 are much better than the .177 as the .177 is going too fast for a pellet that light.

I have the same, very hold sensitive, just keep pumping lead thru it, they seem to have a long brea in. My Titan in 22 is failsafe accurate, didnt start off that way.

I bought a Xisico copy of the Diana 34. (Same as a Ruger Airhawk).
The rifle is in .22 and shoots just over 700fps with 14.3gr pellets.
It was terribly inaccurate as well (4" groups).
At first I thought it was hold sensitive, then maybe screws were loosening, but to no avail.....
Then I started trying different pellets and lo and behold! It shoots 3/4" groups with the right pellets (Gamo Hunter and RWS super- H-Point) and 1.25" groups with a few others.
I would recommend trying a few brands of pellets (after ensuring you have everything tightened and loctited down fully)
