Bent expander/ decapping rod

I have a a old set of C&H reloading dies in 30 06. The expander / decapping rod is bent.
Are other rods from other makes compatible to replace this? What makes and where can I get one? Thanks

The alignment on those things is not that critical.

Have you tried straightening it back out?

Or is it a pretzel?

It's critical only if you want to produce concentric - accurate - ammunition. A bent rod can pull the neck out of alignment when the expander ball is pulled back through.

I just tried a Redding decapping assembly from a set of 300 WSM dies in a CH 30-30 die. It fit like it was made for it.

With that said you can get parts from CH https://www.ch4d.com/ The decapping rod is listed at $4.31 USD. CH will ship USPS

Good point. I set my bar pretty low in that regard, but not everyone does.
