So i was at P&D and mentioned my issue with the pushrod sticking in the chamber after emptying a mag..
I have an archangel SKS...
you have to manually rack the action and it pushes back in... but it sticks there pretty good about an inch in.
Was suggested that when I put the tapco cover on my gas tube I may have bent it ever so slightly causing it to stick.. but i cant see it and the installation went smoothly enough considering how annoying it can be to hammer that pin out.
anyone come across this? how to check for it?
Holding my thumb over the hole on the gas tube with the piston in causes it to pressurize and the piston slowly comes out the end, just like it should.... doesnt stick when i shake it manually... but with the force of shooting it seems to want to stick...
cycling errors are only occasional, as long as the mag has rounds in it, seems to work fine... but on the last round it sticks in the chamber.
thoughts?
