Berdan primers on the way?

Any luck getting these in or maybe a rough ETA for us there Mr CanAm

Yes, likely. They are currently approved, but cannot be shipped due to NRCAN's new testing system. We are sorting it out.

no, there are several types. easy way is fill the case with water and use a punch.

Personally, I find the claw tools very slow and finicky. But whatever you prefer, go for it.

Nothing but water for me.....cycled several hundred now.

I like to drill a hole in a block of wood, then used a long, close fitting brass punch to know out the primers. Just dump all the brass into a bucket of water and take then from there. Very fast and can be done outside or in a garage where the water won't bother anything.

I've removed berdan primers through the flash holes with a fine snap-on punch..... Easy enough and dry....

Yes, that works nicely if the holes are big enough.

The important part is having a punch small enough. Snap on is one of the few places you can find one that small, yet strong enough to use repeatedly.

Good idea on the snap on punch......I like many others just dump all my cases in a tub of water and start a nice rhythm can get through several hundred in an afternoon.
